Hi my names Chantal, I started off my studying Beauty Therapy at Kidderminster College in 2005-2007. I had tried so hard to get a job as a therapist in a salon with no luck, I then had to find a work experience placement while I was at college , Scratch was the last place I tried and Kate, the owner at the time said yes. I helped her for a week and at the end of the week she offered me a job - I was over the moon! And that's where my career started; I began as a Nail technician at 18. Trained in Creative , BioGel , Essie and St Tropez. Six years down the line after building up a huge client base I then had the opportunity to take over Scratch! I have owned the salon since 2013. I have since done a huge refurbishment and the salon has gone from strength to strength - I absolutely love my job!

Hi my names Elise , I trained Beauty Therapy at Halesowen college in 2000, followed after I did a Swedish body massage course. Soon after I realised my passion was in the nail industry. I trained with Creative nail academy in 2001 and began my nail career in the nail world. My speciality is Acyclic Nail extensions as it brings out my creative side. I also trained in Biogel in 2009 and started doing gel nails. I also do St Tropez spray tanning and recently trained in Essie. I have a huge client base all over the Midlands that have followed me for 15 years.

Hi my names Jennie, I began my BTEC in beauty therapy science in 2005-2007, I studied at University college Birmingham. I have worked in salons for since 2006 doing a wide range of treatments including waxing, tinting, massage, facials, manicures, pedicures and gels. Along the way I have trained with Elemis, Decleor, Guinot, Jessica, St Tropez, Dermaco and Essie. I love my job and Scratch has a great environment.

Hi my name is Amber, I graduated from Halesowen College in 2016 with a NVQ2 and NVQ3 in Beauty Therapy. I work at scratch full time doing manicures, pedicures, spray tans, gel nails and acrylic nail extensions. My favourite treatment is Acrylic as you get the perfect finish. I started working at Scratch in November 2015 and I love it. The girls have made me so welcome and the clients couldn't be more friendly and supportive in my starter to the industry! I hope to carry on when I leave college in the summer and build my client base just as big as the other scratch girls!
